After all, we don't do restores very often.

You are correct.  Currently, those options are only for backups.  But that's my whole point.  Why is that the case?  Why are there no power options for restores, when virtually ever other imaging application has them?  There needs to be restore power options, that way users can initiate a restore from within Windows, go get a cup of coffee (or whatever) and come back to a freshly restored and restarted system.  That's my point.

Also, I do indeed restore images every day if not more often.  I use HBS as kind of a "roll-back" software.  I'm testing software and/or games all day and I very often restore images, knowing that I have documented and verifiably clean images every step of the way.  Undoubtedly, I'm not the norm.  But that's why this feature is important to me.

Well, I now know why it's so important to you. However V5.0 Beta has been released and translations for some languages have been done, so this feature can't be added to V5.0, we will implement it in the next version, I hope you understand.

Hasleo Backup Suite V4.9.5 Released!

What's new in this version:
1. Fixed an important security vulnerability.

Since the GUI is not running with administrator privileges, which can lead to an escalation of the privileges of the system running the software when a file restore operation is performed, the GUI must be run with administrator privileges from V4.9.5 onwards. Another benefit of running the GUI with administrator privileges is that the GUI can attempt to start a service program if it detects that the service program is not starting properly.
