Change logs for V5.0 Beta 1:
1. Added feature to backup files on network mapped volumes
2. Improved the feature of enumerating network shared folders
3. Allows you to choose whether or not to save your network access credentials
4. Fixed bug: Failed to restore NTFS to a small partition
5. Fixed some bugs to improve product quality

Hopefully this is the last beta version of V5.0 and no more features will be added to V5.0.

Hi,

is the bug I mentioned here already fixed in this new version?
So credentials won't be lost anymore?

If not, will that still be fixed? Currently you can't really use automatic tasks with network shares because of that.

Thanks!

When will V5.0 final be released replacing V4.9.5?

We've fixed it, please test to see if the issue still persists?

We haven't received any serious bugs about the new features (maybe because of too few users), it seems to be stable already, so the final version can be released soon.

From what I can tell there aren't any real "bugs."  There are choices I wouldn't have made, such as not selecting uefi partitions when choosing the system backup option, but that's not really a bug.

The UEFI partition should be automatically selected when making a system backup, if it is not then this is a bug. Do you mean you've encountered this?

I sure have.  It's always been that way, so I assumed it was by design.     If I go to New Backup then select System Backup, my uefi (fat32) partition is not selected, and cannot be using that method.  That's why I also have to use the Partition backup method.

The second FAT32 partition is not the ESP partition of your current Windows operating system, the ESP partition of your current operating system should be the first FAT32 partition, that's why it's not selected, it's not a bug.

It might boot be the partition that holds the actual uefi loader, but it's not the one that holds the actual data that the loader points to. Therefor, my problem is the same; I still cannot make a complete backup of my system in the way HBS intends users to do.

I'm sorry that a standard Windows installation on a UEFI-based computer will only have an ESP partition, a Windows partition and a recovery partition and a Microsoft Reserved partition (MSR, which may not exist) (please refer to Microsoft's official documentation), your ANHDV BOOT partition is obviously a custom partition, in which case it will not be considered part of the system backup, and it is impossible for us to consider all the FAT32 partitions on the disk as part of the Windows operating system.
