Do you know the rationale for that? I don't quite see what the advantage would be.

The current version does not allow changing the destination folder. After changing the destination folder do we need to copy the existing backup image files to the new folder? This is very time consuming.

Little idea I just had:

Currently HBS removes notifications to started or ended tasks automatically. That can be handy but you can also easily miss an error when you're not on the PC during the scheduled task.
So you need to configure and send an email to be sure you don't miss an error.

Maybe this could be tweaked with 2 new (global) options:

Code:
-- Notifications --

Display system notifications for scheduled backups:

- On backup start and end

- On backup end

- On error only

- Never

[x] Keep messages in Notification Center

Default could be the current behavior, so first option with keep messages unticked. Smile

I wonder if it would be possible to make HBS use the current system locale in UI.
As it is, I find date and time presentation in HFB a bit confusing. It is different from every date and time shown on my computer.

Maybe off topic here... At the moment I am testing HBS and I am liking it, but before I adopt it I'd like to know more about the company/people behind HBS, plans for the future of HBS, etc. So far I have not been able to find such information on the main site. Will you please point me to the right place.

Please, show a screenshot of what you have the date and time look like in Hasleo, and post how you would like them to look.

Here we see Settings for region/country and the formatting of time and date for my country - Sweden. All applications that are region aware format date time this way. Hasleo doesn't. See here

You should allow it with a warning.

Eg. Changing the destination folder will not copy old backups or something. Do you want to proceed ?
Or add an option to copy the old backups so it's up to the admin to do it or not.

Yes, you're right. V5 has been released and we won't be adding new features to V5 for a while, so we have time to complete the suggestions made by customers.
