I've set retention policies but still get space is insuffcient error - Rust4484 - 09-10-2024 Hasleo is not removing old backups even though I set a retention policy. Thoughts? RE: I've set retention policies but still get space is insuffcient error - Froggie - 09-10-2024 Retention works just fine for me. If any of those backups were made under a different task or specification (while testing along the way), they won't be affected by the retention set in the current task... you'll need to remove them manually. I changed the existing task to include the new retention. Are you suggesting it would be best to create a new task and start over? RE: I've set retention policies but still get space is insuffcient error - Froggie - 09-10-2024 That might be the best... but a change in retention of the current task should hold for the current task. Any old images from older tasks need to be cleaned up manually. RE: I've set retention policies but still get space is insuffcient error - admin - 09-10-2024 Yes, the image retention policy is only valid for the image files generated by the current task, and the image files must be stored in the task folder of the current task. |
