Restore System with Differential - jjocsak - 12-20-2024 I tried to search for the answer but could not find it. What is the correct way to restore a system backup with a differential? Can you just start to restore the differential then that would automatically look for the full backup to restore first? or Restore the full backup separately then restore the differential backup after that? Thanks Jeff RE: Restore System with Differential - aldist - 12-20-2024 (12-20-2024, 01:14 PM)jjocsak Wrote: What is the correct way to restore a system backup with a differential?Start recovery from a differential copy, the corresponding full copy will also be used during recovery, no user involvement is required. The entire restore is performed in one approach. The same is true when restoring from an incremental copy. Thanks I was hoping that was the approach.
