File Clone

Also the latest version of Hasleo Backup Suite only offers File Backup to some sort of FileBackup-file and no clone feature and it still offers no option to decide how files should be restored. Files are restored into a different directory by first creating a directory called the same, as the drive letter from which the backup was done followed by a '+' sign and in this directory the complete contents of the File Backup is restored including all sub-directories.
It would be really cool to have the option to restore the data to whatever location you decide and offer an option to not create the complete subdirectory-structure and first a subdirectory with the original drive letter followed by a '+' sign.
But as this is no real File Clone feature, it would be much better, if files could be synced from one directory to another directory or even to another partitions directory or subdirectory by cloning the complete contents of a selected directory and not having to backup and restore the contents.
Use case example:
Instead of manually copying files from one to another location, because you would like to transfer data from one to another partition (which is smaller than the original partition), you simply clone (or sync) a directory and all its subdirectories and files with or without NTFS permissions to another directory or even to another directory in another partition.
That would be a nice feature that's really missing in Hasleo's Backup Suite or Disk Clone.

From your description, the file clone feature you are talking about is actually the file synchronization feature. It's in our development roadmap, we just don't have the time to implement it at the moment.
