About older versions of the program
#31
In order to stop this kind of discussion, which does not really help to improve the quality of the product, we will stop the "forced update" mode in the version before the paid version is released. However, please note that we may reintroduce this mode after the paid version is released, and we will only provide support for the latest version.

Once again, we will never force individual users to buy the product, and people who think the product is worth buying will naturally buy it. Honestly there have been users who wanted to buy some licenses and our response was "it's free, if you think it's worth paying for then please buy it in the future", so we have never charged anyone a penny so far.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

What matters most when it comes to backing up data especially with 3rd party software such as HBS. Is continued functionality. Regardless of support, or access to the internet. Paying for software is not the problem.
Not being able to use it because my computer died, the company died, the internet died, the clock died. Or because some other thing has gone wrong. Continued functionality should be guaranteed.
