Hmmm.... I have the same results as others. On my main PC, USB 2.0 worked out fine... but I was mainly trying to run it on my Surface Pro 2 where I only have one port to choose from to see how the updated 10 did with touch control. lol. And it is 3.0. Ah well.

I'm trying to install it (Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_9926.iso) on my Patriot Tab USB 3.0 32GB, and it throws this error message "Failed to run system API.(0x0000001500150000)" every single time I try, and I've tried both MBR and GPT also using USB 2.0 and 3.0, with no luck.

Please send the user.log file to me, thanks.

I get an unknown error when I plugged in USB 3.0 port even though I've installed it in USB 2.0 port. But USB 2.0 port is still tolerable

I then took out the USB 3.0 Flash drive from the back USB 3.0 ports of the motherboard and connected it to the front panel USB 2.0 ports and it picked up the Windows 10 just fine and i'm now installing it.

Simply install your windows on another PC!
(use the wintousb.exe on another pc)

i got this message ("Failed to run system API.(0x0000001500150000)" ),too.
It isn't matter if i want to create win 7 / 8 / or 10 on usb, i do it on serveral usb devices. Always the same Messages.
I installed WintoUSB today the first time.
