Restore Times
#1
Recently, I've noticed that HBS takes longer to restore an image using delta restore on than with it off.  The time difference is not even that close; nine minutes (or so) with delta on and 2.5 with it off.  It's not like there's a lot of changes; maybe 2 gb of changes on a 50 gb partition How can that be?  Does reading for changes really take that long with HBS?

We haven't made any changes to the delta restore code recently, so the issue shouldn't be caused by changing the code. Technically it doesn't take long to find the changed block, especially on such a small drive, so the problem should be caused by something else. If the backup image file is stored on a network drive, then network instability could cause this.

To further analyse the issue, please provide log files for both restore operations.
