upgrading Windows 10 build

Hi,

I was running the (wintousb) Windows 10 Technical Preview but found that it would not update the builds.
So are you saying VHD solves this issue and if so how do I go about installing a wintousb VHD?

You must make sure that the "VHD" checkbox is checked on the destination disk selection page.

Thanks for the reply. I have now successfully installed build 10041 using Wintousb VHD method. 
I then used windows update to download the latest updates - this took quite a few attempts to work successfully. However I'm not able to update my build version to the latest. There is no preview build tab in windows update section. It also won't activate using the original product key which came with the technical preview: NKJFK.......

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
