Are you kidding? I've done this at least a hundred times personally, and I'm sure you and I aren't the only ones on this forum who have performed it, but no one has reported similar problems. Are you sure that the folder names are exactly the same? And the files in the folder are the same?

The undeletable duplicate folder does not have anything in it. I will carry out some in depth tests on an empty drive (if I can find one) and get back to you.
