I feel like you're not reading what I'm saying, so I'm just going to stop.  You're trying to make a problem where there is not one, and posting all the links you want will not validate your point.   There is no problem.  Reread and comprehend what I've already said.

Oh really? So if you're unable to update HBS past the used by date thus you're not able to use it; you're not able to create new backups or retrieve your data. You don't see a problem with this. Also stop derailing the conversation and use the proper threading regarding the use of older versions. Thank you.
