2. New backup scheduling and image retention policy for creating more complex backup plans
My typical plan was to schedule a 4AM backup, one full backup the first day, and 6 incremental backups for the rest of the week, then start over.

What would the settings be on the new retention screen to do the same thing?

Thanks

Select your task, then "Actions/Edit," then "Backup schedules," then "Add backup schedule."  Make up your Sunday weekly FULL at 4am and OK that schedule.  Then"Add backup schedule" once again and set up your DAILY INCREMENTAL at 4am and OK.  Then use the image retention policy under the scheduling area and set up how many FULLs/INCREMENTALS you want to have.

It seems fairly simple...

I was used to the old way, and my previous backup program was the same. I'm sure this new method is fine, but I have to picture it in my head and see if I get the results I expect. Thanks for your help, I will edit the backup when I have a chance.

Where can we find new release changelogs?  I heard there was a new v4 build today and I wanted to see what was new.

The current v4 PUBLIC release was on 16Nov.  There have been non-public releases since then but they only occur in threads that have issues the build is made for.  Eventually, those special builds (if no problems) get rolled up into the current PUBLIC release, at which point anything that affects their feature sets will be made available in their ChangeLog.

Thanks Froggie, yes, only the 16 November version is the public release of V4, the others are just fixed versions for specific issues.
