Unable to create WinToUsb installation
#1
Hello, i've been trying to use WinToUSB to create a portable windows 10 x86 installation on a VHD placed on my external hard drive. Unfortunately it seems not to work, as WinToUSB can't see my external drive properly (it is a freshly formatted NTFS 1TB toshiba hard drive).
What can i do to solve the issue?
Thanks in advance.

Are there any partitions on this disk?

Yes, there's a NTFS partition allocating the whole disk space.

Please send the user.log to us (via e-mail at: [email protected]), it is located in the bin folder under the installation directory of WinToUSB. We will solve this problem as soon as possible.
Thanks.

The system and boot partitions must be primary partition, so please delete all the partitions on the disk and recreate the system and boot partitions, then try again.
