Once a profile backup to a NAS has been setup the credentials are "remembered".
1. Is there an option to force credential entry each time? In other words, no stored credentials.
2. where and how are the credentials stored ? (I would like to understand any security issues that might be involved.)

I'm sorry that the current version does not provide the option of whether or not to save the passwords. The network access credentials are stored in the NetConnect.db file, the passwords are encrypted and the data can only be decrypted by a user who has the same login credentials as the user who encrypted the passwords.

Thanks for the info.
Probably more than sufficient security for my modest installation.
I am somewhat surprised that the data is being stored in a "c:\Program Files" sub-directory

Just re-visiting this thread.
Any possibility of NOT storing the password (even tho' it is currently encrypted)
