"free/trial version doesnt allow encrypting/decrypting the Windows boot partition"
#1
When using Explorer | C: | context menu | Hasleo BitLocker Anywhere | Turn On Bitlocker " this message pops up:

How were users supposed to try it on the system it's intended for? Standard systems only have a C:\ drive (a single partition) that is the boot partition , OS partition , data partition , ... all in one.

P.S. Trying to start the app itself only brings

Is that bc Windows Bitlocker has been removed before* (i.e. is HBA only a frontend to the actual Windows functions?)

* removed Microsoft-Windows-SecureStartup

P.S. Win10PROx64 Version 10.0.19044.1288
HBA Version 9.6 R1 (build 2025/02/07)

I'm sorry that only the paid version supports encrypting Windows partition (C: drive), and the software also offers Mac and Linux versions, so do you still think it's just a frontend?

Well, no testing == no sale ?‍♂️,
As long as you deem it appropriate HBA cannot be tested on most Win systems that's fine with me (question arises: What is the use of an unusable trial?). It isn't a must for me, rather a nice-to-have.

"just a front end"
You saw the screen shot of the error. What else would "failed to run system API" mean, if not that HBA is missing Win components to en-/decrypt?

Honestly if encrypted Windows partitions were allowed, would anyone else pay for it? It is not possible for the software to remove the encryption of encrypted partitions after the trial period is over, we have set a very low price for it as we also need revenue to maintain the continued development of the software. Please note that any software depends on the features provided by the system.
