Could you please tell me how to change the default option when I do a restore?
If I restore a PC remotely and forget to select "reboot", I have to go to the PC to close the PE boot.
I always want a reboot after restore.

Once a profile backup to a NAS has been setup the credentials are "remembered".

1. Is there an option to force credential entry each time? In other words, no stored credentials.

2. where and how are the credentials stored ? (I would like to understand any security issues that might be involved.)

Why isn't the software removing old backups to make space for the new backup?

A routine call on an existing file backup profile (that has been running successfully for many weeks) unexpectedly reported "path not found". It was not clear whether it was the source or destination path. (perhaps that report message could be improved)

I clicked "open Location" successfully so concluded it must be the source path.
I browsed the source tree and everything looked normal.
I then unselected the source folder and reselected it.

The profile then ran successfully.

Not sure what caused the issue... something on my computer I guess.
Just thought I would report it tho'

Hello Hasleo Team,

today I utilized the 'File Backup' function under Backup in Hasleo Backup Suite 4.0.0.0 and it works quite nicely. Unfortunately, if I try to restore the data to another partition (not the original location), Hasleo Backup Suite creates a directory with the original drive letter followed by a '+'-sign and restores data inside, allthough I decided to restore data saved from drive D:\ into the root of drive T:\ in this case scenario.

Could you please change this behavior and instead let Hasleo Backup Suite restore the data in to the root of a partition and not create a sub-directory on the destination partition named 'D+' ?

Built a Windows 11 pro-based Dell Latitude 5290 2-in 1 laptop/tablet (8th gen i7), UEFI, non-Secure BOOT.  When finished, took a System Backup, did a restart, made a detectable change, then invoked a non-BOOTmenu recovery of the System Backup in DELTA RESTORE mode.  During the external process, progress bar went the distance but ended in the following error msg...

The restore operation failed to run system API (0x00970015C0000034).  The operation was not successful.

Was running v4.2 Beta (Build Jan 5 2024) and built an Emergency Disk ISO using the EasyUEFI off-line Win10/Win11 OPE.

When I BOOTed back into the System following the error, the detectable changes mentioned above had all been corrected as if the DELTA RESTORE had been successful.

Logs sent to [email protected]...

I have a laptop HDD but how can convert to a portable drive?

The last step I take when a software seems to satisfy all my requirements is to vet the company that offers the software
I have not been able to clearly find who owns and where the company is located.
Their Hasleo.com domain is registered in the US but their EasyUEFI.com is registered in China.

So,

• applications are not signed, and yes I know free software, but there are free solutions for signing
  
• can't clearly identify owner and country of origin
